"No Man is an Island" Those are the immortal words of Jon Bon Jovi. I can buy that no man is an island...but I take serious issue with islands that are not islands. Fashion Island in Newport Beach--not an island. Island's (the hamburger chain)--also not an island. Recently I was at another non-island island. It's actually a peninsula. It's distressing that this peninsula has been deemed an island. That's just lying to the people.
