I just got back from seeing Lord of the Rings. It was pretty cool. As expected Ian McKellen rocked as Gandalf, Viggo Mortensen was pretty slick as Aragorn, and Liv Tyler makes a really hot elf. I was surprised at how good Sean Astin was. This is the only movie I've seen him in where I wasn't thinking he was Mikey from Goonies. Elijah Wood was adequate...I guess I've never been a fan of his. My biggest problem was Legolas. He just looked way too much like James Van Der Beek. He had this one cool move where he stabbed an orc with an arrow before stringing it and firing it at another orc. But for the most part I kept wondering when he was going to drown someone in "the creek" or make a move on Joey. Rob thought he was pretty cool, which further makes me question his sexuality (both Legolas and Rob). Overall this was probably the most fun I've had with a three-hour movie. Cool.

It's been awhile since I've had something to say. I guess I've been busy with work stuff and have had lots of happenings that I'm not quite willing to share with the world. Anyway, here's a brief synopsis of the last few weeks: I ended part of a relationship. I hurt my ankle. I got my ankle fixed. I got sick. I waited for checks that have yet to come. There's lots of other things and many details that I'm leaving out. For now, those will stay with me.
