Week Two! My mattress finally arrived last week. The delivery guy was an ass and wouldn't bring it up the stairs. I was determined to set up a nice, comfy bed as soon as possible. So I dragged a king size mattress up to the third floor all by myself. That herculean effort was fueled by pure determination. I really wanted to go out that night, but I also wanted to test my bed. I decided to take a nap at 7:00PM and woke up a little after 5:00AM. Since the bar was closed, I went back to sleep. Visco-elastic foam mattresses rule, by the way. Last week I went to Los Angeles, where I slept in a really comfy bed that I didn't have to drag up three flights of stairs. The press event was fun and I got to spend time with one of the dearest people in the universe. I was supposed to go to Vegas over the weekend, but a bunch of things came up and I was really tired from sleeping on the floor and a quickie L.A. trip and running off to shoots when nobody is looking. I really should have gone to Vegas, but I couldn't muster the energy. Instead I spent a lovely Saturday morning with Rannie and the farmer's market. The weather has been unusually wark and I've really been enjoying being outside and walking. This week is full of pre-E3 stuff. So I won't be in the office so much. I finally cancelled all my utilities in Irvine. That took long enough. Duh me. Oh yeah, Shane told Sandra that, "Raymond is totally over you," which at the time I thought I was. In reality I was mostly over her and a lot drunk. Now I'm really totally over her though. I still care for her, but not like that anymore. I better get some sleep. I've precious cargo arriving tomorrow.

What I've learned... ...in my first week in San Francisco. - Sleeping on the floor for a week makes my back angry. - Getting really drunk before sleeping on the floor makes it much easier. - My neighborhood is pretty dope. - I still miss The Hill. - I really can't wait for my mattress. - Arinell's is still really yummy. - Buddha Bar is still really fun. - Rannie has really changed from when I first met. Upon reflection, it's neat to see how she's evolved. It's kind of like Pokemon. - Shower sticks rule. - Swiffer Wet Jets are pretty cool too. - Shoe racks enable to stack 18 pairs of shoes while only taking up the width of six. - I really can't wait for my mattress. - Our DSL rules when our wireless network is working. - Unfortunately our wireless network has been working really sporadically...at best. - I really enjoy walking. - I really can't wait for my mattress. - The best way to leave Orange County is talking to someone really precious right before you leave.

Curtain Call So I'm in the Red Carpet Club at John Wayne Airport counting down my last minutes as a resident of The Orange Curtain. All in all, it wasn't that bad. I met some great people, lived in a fantastic apartment, and enjoyed some fabulous weather. That said, I won't be longing for the suburban life any time soon. Like most things, it was an experience. Some of it was annoying, but I learned lots along the way. Although I'm thrilled to be leaving, there are many things I'll miss: SoCal weather, the hot high-school girls at The Spectrum, Shin Sen Gumi, Taco Mesa, Curry House, my pools and hot tubs, friends I've made, and one of the best friends I'll ever have. My life is going to be nuts until after E3, but I'm truly looking forward to living in San Francisco again. I'm not going to put crazy expectations on the move. I already know I love it there. I'll just do like my pal Max Mercury always says: "Live and learn."

Packing! I should really finish. The movers are coming in seven hours. Hopefully they'll be late. Apparently I'm aqua.

Deathtrap Dungeon First, download these movies (please)! The WWE one was lots of fun, though my intro really sucked (sue me, I'm still learning). Ray and Greg are always cool to hang with. And the Microsoft one was kind of blah. Great stuff on Ryan's part. Last night I went to Fluid to support James' DJ-ing. It's just like old times -- Rannie and me going to see James spin. A bunch of Konami people arrived slightly after we did, so it was cool to catch up with them and learn more about their super-secret game. I'll post some pics later. So my new apartment may or may not be a deathtrap. I'm kind of indifferent about the whole thing. If the place turns out to be okay then I still have an awesome place to live in. If it doesn't, then I can move to Potrero Hill like I originally wanted to. A local move wouldn't be such a hassle. Especially since I'm not going to unpack much, just in case. Still, I'm feeling really good despite the wacky apartment stuff and wacky work stuff. Ha ha! My powers can't be stopped by such little things.

Light Day light savings rules! I love that it was still bright outside as I was leaving work. Also, I feel old. I'm actually buying software instead of pirating. Also, also, I hate packing. Thankfully I'm not taking that much with me.

Forgot to Mention Thank you, For helping me remember, Who I was, Who I am, And who I can be. I lost sight of that, And fell into a sadder place, But you helped me find my way. You're my star. You think I'm a super hero, And that's okay by me. Just know that, The only reason I'm amazing, Is because you believe I can be. You're my strength. We once promised each other, Pieces of our fractured hearts, And I've never made a vow so true. You'll always be with me, As I'll always be with you. You're my hope.
